TorqueIQ ("we", "us", "the Service") is operated by an individual and is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Account information: Email address, name, and authentication data provided when you sign up via Google OAuth or email/password.
Vehicle data: Vehicle details, maintenance logs, modification records, and mileage information you enter into the Service.
AI session data: Symptom descriptions and diagnostic conversation content you submit during AI Mechanic sessions.
Forum content: Posts and threads you submit to the community forum.
Payment data: Payment transactions are processed by Stripe. TorqueIQ does not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment information. We receive confirmation of completed transactions and your credit balance.
Usage data: Basic usage information such as pages visited and features used, collected to improve the Service.
We use your data to: provide and operate the Service; process AI Mechanic diagnostic sessions; generate maintenance recommendations; process payments and manage your credit balance; display your vehicle and maintenance history; and improve the Service over time.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Diagnostic session content and maintenance data are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate responses and recommendations. This data is processed according to Anthropic's privacy policy. We do not use your data to train AI models.
TorqueIQ uses the following third-party services:
Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
Stripe — payment processing.
Anthropic — AI language model API.
Vercel — application hosting.
Google — OAuth authentication (if you sign in with Google).
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of data.
You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting support@torqueiq.co. Requests will be handled within a reasonable timeframe.
You may request access to or correction of your personal data at any time by contacting us at support@torqueiq.co.
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), row-level security on our database, and secure authentication. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
TorqueIQ is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We may notify users of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
